The HSE recognises that the health and wellbeing of employees is of the utmost importance and integral to maintaining high standards in the delivery of services.

The HSE encourages and supports health service employees to achieve a healthy work-life balance. Disconnecting from work and maintaining clear boundaries between work and personal time is vital for employee wellbeing and is regarded as a key organisational priority.
