This HSE national procedure applies to all HSE staff in the Public Health Nursing Service with delegated duties in relation to the safe transfer of the child health records. This procedure must always be used in conjunction with professional clinical judgement. All staff must adhere to the General Data Protection Regulations (2016) and HSE Data Protection Guidelines (2019b) when transferring a child health record
