Q- Exchange Voting now open

The theme for Q Exchange this year is:

“How can improvement be used to reduce delays accessing health and care services?”

The National Quality and Patient Safety Directorate are excited to share that one submission from Ireland has been shortlisted for Q Exchange funding.

Project:

“Regional Integration and collaboration for daily improvement in Ophthalmology services” (https://q.health.org.uk/idea/2023/regional-integration-and-collaboration-for-daily-improvement-in-ophthalmology-services/)

Aim:

Implementing a Daily Management System in the North East Regional Integrated Eye Care Service to support cross-organisational teams (14 sites), to deliver improved patient access to integrated eye care services.

“Work on ophthalmology patient care pathways (2021 to date) has already evidenced a 52% decrease in adult ophthalmology waiting lists and a reduction of 50% in wait time for surgery.”

Voting will be open from 23 May to 06 June and we encourage all Q Community members in Ireland to cast their vote.
