Quality and Safety Signals Information Sheet

Learn more about an exciting and innovative project that is developing and testing a model of quality and patient safety surveillance for Ireland

Quality and Safety Signals is being developed by the National Quality and Patient Safety Directorate in partnership with the National Women and Infant’s Health Programme (https://www.hse.ie/eng/about/who/acute-hospitals-division/woman-infants/) and HSE eHealth and Disruptive Technology.

Academic collaborations form an important part of the project with the Science Foundation Ireland ADAPT Research Centre (https://www.adaptcentre.ie/) engaged to collaborate on the data governance design and the University College Dublin’s Centre for Interdisciplinary Research, Education and Innovation in Health Systems (IRIS) (https://www.ucd.ie/nmhs/research/ucdiriscentre/) collaborating on signal development and the realist evaluation of the proof of concept.
