Quality and Safety Signals is being developed by the National Quality and Patient Safety Directorate in partnership with the National Women and Infant’s Health Programme (https://www.hse.ie/eng/about/who/acute-hospitals-division/woman-infants/) and HSE eHealth and Disruptive Technology.
Academic collaborations form an important part of the project with the Science Foundation Ireland ADAPT Research Centre (https://www.adaptcentre.ie/) engaged to collaborate on the data governance design and the University College Dublin’s Centre for Interdisciplinary Research, Education and Innovation in Health Systems (IRIS) (https://www.ucd.ie/nmhs/research/ucdiriscentre/) collaborating on signal development and the realist evaluation of the proof of concept.
