The purpose of this policy is to ensure that only candidates who have successfully passed the stated Garda Vetting process are considered for employment.
The HSE will carry out Garda vetting on all new employees. New employees will not take up duty until the Garda Vetting process has been completed and the HSE is satisfied that such an appointment does not pose a risk to clients, service users and employees. It is the responsibility of those managing the recruitment process to ensure that this policy is brought to the attention of all involved in such processes and that this policy is fully adhered to.
