This Guideline provides comprehensive, evidence-based guidance for the care and management of women diagnosed with Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS) within the Republic of Ireland.
This national clinical guideline provides an evidence-based framework for the identification, risk stratification and comprehensive management of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS), encompassing standardised ultrasound and MRI diagnostic criteria, referral to high-volume multidisciplinary centres, structured antenatal (outpatient and inpatient) pathways, optimised timing and mode of delivery, and defined audit indicators, with the aim of reducing maternal morbidity and supporting continuous quality improvement across Irish maternity services.
