Evidence-based recommendations for the care of women/couples presenting with Recurrent Miscarriage (RM) as well as promoting a standardised approach nationally across all maternity units regarding the structure/ organisation of care, counselling and supportive care, investigations and treatments.

The National Clinical Practice Guideline on Recurrent Miscarriage provides evidence-based recommendations for the assessment, investigation, treatment and organisation of care for women/couples with ≥2 consecutive pregnancy losses, emphasising early referral to dedicated RM clinics, structured investigations (including endocrine, thrombophilia, uterine anatomy and cytogenetics), tailored supportive psychological care, risk modification, and future pregnancy planning within a trauma-informed, multidisciplinary maternity care framework.
