This is the policy to be applied to the reimbursement of expenses for service users who are invited to participate in the design, development and delivery of services in the HSE.

To ensure mechanisms are in place for the reimbursement of service user's expenses. This policy will also enable departments to estimate costs when planning service user involvement programmes and activities.
