The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance to managers about the HSE’s approach to statutory and mandatory training in line with the priorities set out in the People Strategy. This Policy will assist managers to identify statutory and mandatory training for employees under their supervision. The Policy outlines the roles and responsibilities of managers and employees with regard to the provision of training and ensuring that employees undertake identified training.
