The International Cancer Screening Network (ICSN), in partnership with the HSE National Screening Service, is delighted to announce the dates for the 2027 ICSN biennial conference (ICSN 2027).
The conference will take place from 16 to 18 June 2027 at Trinity Business School, Dublin, Ireland.
Bringing together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, programme leaders, public health professionals and patient and public partners from around the world, ICSN 2027 will provide an opportunity to share knowledge, explore emerging evidence and strengthen international collaboration in cancer screening.
Transforming screening together
The theme for ICSN 2027 is ‘Transforming screening together: Balancing innovation, access and trust’.
As screening programmes continue to evolve, the conference will explore how innovation can improve outcomes while ensuring services remain equitable, accessible and trusted by the populations they serve.
The programme will be shaped around important topics, including:
- personalised and risk-based approaches to screening
- technology and artificial intelligence in screening programmes
- research and innovation shaping the realisation of new screening programmes
- equity, access and inclusion
- communication, trust and informed choice
- global collaboration and health system learning
- learning and data-driven health systems
- programme transformation and sustainability
- patient and public partnership and co-design
- methodology, monitoring and evaluation of screening programmes.
What to expect
The conference will provide a forum for sharing research, discussing challenges and opportunities, and exploring how screening programmes can continue to improve population health outcomes across different settings.
Over 3 days, delegates can look forward to a dynamic and engaging programme featuring:
- keynote speakers

- poster walks
- workshops and working groups
- collaborating and networking opportunities
- a conference reception and dinner
- a social activities programme.
Conference venue and location
ICSN 2027 will be hosted at Trinity Business School, located in the heart of Dublin city on the campus of Trinity College Dublin.
