National Sepsis Summit

The National Clinical Programme for Sepsis holds a national summit, where healthcare professionals and patients share information on Sepsis, Severe Sepsis and Septic Shock.

Sepsis summit 2023

The aim of the annual sepsis summit is to raise awareness of sepsis in all settings, and provide a learning opportunity for all who attend, leading to better management and ultimately better patient outcomes for those who develop sepsis.

This event is supported by the Dept. of Health, the QPS Directorate of the HSE and the National Sepsis programme.

The 7th Global Sepsis summit was held on 19th September 2023 in Dublin Castle. Its theme was 'Sepsis care in a post pandemic world'.
